Despite its smaller size, the Luxe still offers most functions you would find in Fitbit’s line of fitness trackers. Features include a heart rate sensor, oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring, daily readiness scores, AMOLED color displplay, sleep tracking, stress management tools, 20 exercise modes, water resistance, Google Fast Pair, real time pace and distance (when connected to smartphone app), call, text, and smartphone notifications, just to name a few. While the narrower face and low profile is both elegant and comfortable, the text on the display is extremely small. Many users found it difficult to read stats or messages from their smartphone during a workout. Further, the compact face limits the amount of information that can be seen at one time. One other drawback for outdoor athletes is that there is no onboard GPS. So, if you are headed out for a run or bike and want to track your distance/pace, you will need to sync it to the Fitbit app on your phone and bring it with you.
